MT5: Display symbol details in Market Watch

In MetaTrader5 (MT5), the Market Watch consists of four tabs: "Symbols", "Details", "Trading", and "Ticks". In the "Details" tab, you'll find various information such as "close price of the previous day", "today's high/low/open", "change in price from the previous day", and "current price" (only available on MT5).

Here we'll take a look at how to display the details for a symbol on the Market Watch in MT5.

Step 1

In the "Symbols" tab of the Market Watch, select the symbol for which you wish to check the details and click "Details".

Step 2

The details for the selected symbol will be shown.

1	Bid	Current bid price.
2	Bid High	The highest bid price for the current day.
3	Bid Low	The lowest bid price for the current day.
4	Ask	Current ask price.
5	Ask High	The highest ask price for the current day.
6	Ask Low	The lowest ask price for the current day.
7	Daily Change	Change from the previous day's close price.
8	Open Price	The open price for the current day.
9	Close Price	The close price for the previous day.
